What's the value of a healthy building? FACS Experts evaluate and make recommendations around the comfort, health and concerns of occupants.
FACS provides rapid response and solutions to emergency events or occupant complaints related to conditions in the built environment. This involves characterizing concerns, evaluating potential causes through inspection and sampling, and making recommendations for corrective actions. We facilitate resolution by implementing communication strategies to share information, reduce worry and establish a cooperative resolution pathway.
Program development and implementation is very important in IEQ incidents to ensure that frequency of the incidents is minimized. FACS will work closely with building managers, create customer operations & maintenance programs, develop procedures, perform audits, and provide supporting training & education.
FACS experts also provide Green Building Support by assisting building owners and design professionals to create and assess a built environment that enhances IEQ in accordance with related requirements of sustainable building certification programs. We review plans, evaluate products, and conduct environmental sampling and assessment.

Hospital Construction Project Requires Environmental Monitoring
A hospital construction project required cutting through the exterior walls of the existing structure to tie-in to a new building being erected adjacent to it. FACS was retained to assist with evaluating the project impact on the environment of care, which included monitoring concentrations of airborne particulate matter (PM 10 and PM 2.5).See the full case study
